What sets Stratum apart is the fabric itself. After an extended search, we selected a high wool content waffle knit that brings technical performance to a heritage construction. Seventy percent Australian merino wool provides natural thermoregulation, moisture management, and warmth even when damp. The remaining cotton tempers the fabric with durability and comfort, allowing it to be worn directly against skin without distraction. The result is a fabric that breathes, dries quickly, and adapts across conditions rather than locking you into one use case.

Stratum is designed as a true base layer that refuses to stay hidden. It moves effortlessly from shell systems to everyday wear, functioning under technical layers in cold, exposed environments or standing on its own beneath denim, field pants, or workwear.
