At its core is Polartec® Power Grid™, an advanced bi-component knit engineered to increase warmth, reduce mass, and accelerate moisture transport. This specific weight of Power Grid is exceptionally versatile—warm enough for cold-weather missions yet breathable enough for high exertion—making it the ideal next-to-skin foundation when operating across varied terrain.

We reshaped the silhouette into a more form-fitting, body-mapped profile that sits comfortably under shells and midlayers without bunching or bulk. The result: smoother transitions, more efficient heat management, and a base layer that moves with you, not against you. 

An updated hood and higher-profile collar deliver superior neck and head insulation, sealing out drafts and optimizing warmth retention during exposed conditions. 

A deeper half-zip length delivers powerful thermal regulation - dump heat fast during high-output climbs or seal in warmth when the winds turn hostile.

Dual angled chest pockets are placed for easy access even under shells - perfect for keeping a phone or battery-sensitive gear close to your core when temperatures threaten performance.

Integrated into a gusseted construction, the thumbholes lay flat and comfortable when not in use and provide secure wrist anchoring when layering.
